I was checking my google analytics dashboard yesterday and saw something amazing! This site has had over 1000 pageviews and 200+ visits since July 2nd 2009! (That’s just 12 days!!!) I want to really really thank everyone for visiting my site and reading my blog, and I really hope that you got all you could out of this site!
It’s so hard to put into words how much gratitude I feel towards everyone! I will try my best to continue to provide you with useful and relavant information and resources.
I also know that this site would not be nearly as successful without Chris Bennett’s help with answering the KPMG questions, so I want to thank you again Chris, for all your help. I also want to thank Sarah Exel for putting me in contact with Chris is the first place! I will definitely try to bring you more information like that in the future.
Some things coming in the future are:
- A 2-part series about the 10 principles of Leadership from John c. Rich
- A post on how to deal with a busy term and stressful time (namely the 2A term). Including study habits, and time management.
- Mind Like Water, another concept from getting things done and related topics
- Sleep and productivity, including some tips on how to rise early! (Which I could really use myself)
I’m constantly thinking about new topics, so more will come out. If you want something specific, or want me to focus on a certain area, please make a request! It would really help me!
I want to thank everyone again for all your support! Have a great summer everyone!
THANK YOU!!!

Hi everyone! Today I decided to go for it and bought Guitar Hero World Tour, the complete band kit! It wasn’t exactly cheap, but I had so much fun with it!
Why am I blogging about this? Because I just wanted to remind everyone to have fun! I know a lot of you are really enjoying yourselves this summer, but I know there’s people out there that might be working a bit too hard. Even though co-op is just around the corner and the economy isn’t looking so great right now, this is still our last summer! This is when we should truly be enjoying ourselves.
You might not feel like you need to relax, but sometimes giving yourself that break might be just what you need to go forward! While playing Guitar Hero today, I was able to organize my thoughts and motivate myself while having fun at the same time! I even thought of a few good ideas to write about, so stay tuned for those!
Remember, never wear yourself out, that just makes you a less productive person. I remember something my mom told me before “When you’re trying to chop wood, the time spent sharpening the axe is not wasted“. I think this is a very important quote that we should always remind ourselves of.
Going back to the subject of Guitar Hero, it’s a great game! I can’t belive I didn’t get it sooner! Anyone is welcome to come and play! (Well assuming I know you
)
Hi everyone! This is the beginning of my website and blog JennyCao.ca
My name is Jenny Cao, and I’m currently a university student in the University of Waterloo, Majoring in accounting. I’m in the program Biotechnology/Chartered Accountancy, and I’m very knowledgeable in biotechnology as well as computers and design.
I created this website and blog for several reasons:
- It’s a home base for me, where you can find out a little about me and my personality/expertise if you’re interested.
- To share my opinions and views on many things that goes on. As well as tips and tricks I come across or read. I will be mainly talking about accounting/business/world related things in my blog. But I will also be talking about biotechnology and technology, as those are also my strengths.
- Over the years, I have gathered many resources, and I always wanted to share them with everyone, this is the perfect place to put them! This includes tutorials, arts, softwares, tricks, books, websites, and many other resources. Feel free to download or use any resources I post here!
- Everyone have something to give that is of value to others, but the problem is that they’re not connected to others in a way that they could make their value visible. I meet many different people every day, and I want to try to share their expertise with you as well. In other words, I also want to connect you to many new people as well as myself, and make a positive difference in your life!
I just completed my first year in university, and I’m just starting to mature into this world, it’s a time of rapid learning. I want to share as much knowledge as possible with everyone else!
I hope that I will give some value to you, because as long as this site helps one person, even in the slightest bit, then it was worth it!
Thank you for your time, I hope you’ll stay tuned!
