I had a lot of education in many areas, and has a lot of theoretical knowledge. However, this section is about my skills, things I can do right now for someone that is actually useful! As time goes on, I expect a lot of my education to be transformed into skills, especially in the accounting area!

Computers and Technology

I have a very strong computer background. I have a solid foundation of computers, coding, and information technology, and apply this knowledge in my life constantly. I have skills in Web/Graphic Design and Video Editing. I am:

Fluent in: Python, BASIC, JavaScript, (X)HTML, CSS, SQL, PHP, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Premiere.
Some experience in: Simply Accounting, MySQL, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign.

Accounting and Office:

I am able to do simple bookkeeping tasks, as well as other reception duties. My accounting and office skills are as follows:

  • Journal Entries both manually and on Simply Accounting
  • Export various financial statements from Simply Accounting and format them appropriately
  • Work with client databases
  • Organize client files, check, confirm, and modify their records
  • Scheduling (in general or for clients)

Because I also have a strong background in computers, I am able to learn most software very quickly.

*I am majoring in accounting. However, so far a lot of my knowledge are very theoretical, and I have yet to apply them yet.

Event Planning:

I have had a lot of experience in planning and running events. I can definitely help with many planning activities as long as it does not require that I know any specific knowledge, such as a sports event when I do not know what the sport is or how it’s played or managed.

Networking/Social Media:

I have recently been looking into a lot of networking techniques, such as blogs and social media sites. Currently I can help the average person set up a basic networking framework.

Tutoring:

I have an abundance of knowledge in accounting, science, computers, and math. I also have a great academic record in school. I am able to tutor students at a high school level on those subjects.

Driving:

I currently have a G2 licence, I am able to drive anything or people that needs transportaion (with only the restrictions of a G2 license).
